Tim Madge APFS BSc (Hons) Chartered Financial Adviser

Tim began his career in financial services when he graduated from university in 1999. His first employment role was as a Trainee Consultant for Scottish Life, which later merged with Royal London. Tim went on to work at Royal London for four years; building knowledge, qualifications, and strong contacts within financial advisory firms.

Tim left Royal London when he was offered a position as an Independent Financial Adviser with a local firm in Poole, where he accrued in depth knowledge and understanding of working directly with clients. He also built a bank of loyal clients, many of whom remain clients of his today. During his time with PFM Associates, Tim attained Chartered Financial Planner status.

Tim left PFM to continue the same role at The Minster Partnership in 2014 and continues to provide holistic financial planning advice to his clients. Tim’s areas of specialism include pensions, retirement income planning, and inheritance tax mitigation. This keeps him busy to the extent that his role now largely comprises of managing the affairs of existing clients, with little room to take on new clients.

With 25 years in the financial services industry (over 20 of these as a financial adviser), Tim has a wealth of knowledge and experience. He takes pride in providing a personal, approachable service with clear communication and trust at its core.

Tim now works predominantly from home, typically visiting the office twice a week to meet with clients and/or colleagues, which works well with his somewhat needy dog! Outside of the office, Tim spends a couple of hours each day walking his dog and tries to venture to the golf course and the gym as much as busy life allows!

Tim is supported by Christine Sheldon.
